Strafeblock was my second major programming project at RIT. I created Strafeblock over the course of three weeks for my Interactive Digital Media course. Working on Strafeblock allowed me to gain experience with Adobe Flash Professional and the FlashDevelop IDE. Strafeblock was also the first time that I used a third party programming API, Box2DFlash. Box2DFlash handles all the physics calculations for my game. The goal of the game is to survive as long as you can by jumping around to avoid the falling bombs and missiles.
